Truth be told, I started with the purchase of the $20+ Hyde hand-sanding-vac tool. While it was functional, it really wasn't a "quality" product and the cam locking system for the sanding screen did not work particularly well. Still, I hate dust and so I found the plastic hand-sanding model worth the money. The Dust-Free pole sander solves all of the quality problems at what I think is a very fair price. The sanding head is very well-made, and the sanding screen is held securely in place with metal claws and a thumb screw. The articulating vacuum head works well and is easy to manipulate. A great purchase!
